So anyone that has kids or is into pop culture will know this little brown dude to the left as Domo. Domo is a Japanese character that is quite popular. In fact, last year he was the focus of a campaign that Target did around Halloween.
Well, it seems that 7-11 is the latest company to cash in on Domo’s popularity. Their plans are to feature him with a signature Apple Slurpee, special cups and straws and viral videos where Domo is on a quest to get a slurpee, but falls to the expierinece we have all had….brain freeze.
While this is kind of interesting, it wasn’t the joint venutre that caught my eye, but rather the quote the marketing manager of the Slurpee brand gave the writers at Brand week:
“Domo lends itself well to the store and our proprietary products and our consumers who… love crazy Japanese shit.”
